Resumen

The experience of political participation constitutes one of the di­mensions of democratic citizenship. It does not substitute, in fact, the dy­namics of representative procedures established in liberal political cultu­re, although it performs as an activation of public sphere human and institutional resources. In this sense, it shapes as the framework of practi­ces and interrelations generated by the citizens in de process of public deliberation, design and fulfilment of political resolutions. The terms of a democratic theory of education enlighten in this context the process of in­dividuals' critical learning in the solidary practice of civility.
