Platón y el espíritu trágico

Resumen

This study is a criticism of some of Nietzsche's most famous hyperboles, specially those which furiously attack the Socratic-Platonic root of western thought. The author obtained his Ph.D. degree with a thesis about the truth's problem in Plato's dialectical theory; and wishes to prove that the nietzschian accusation of the Socratic intelectualism es baseless. At the same time he explores the Platonic, and idealistic as well as the religious and Sadistic roots of tragic thought. On his way through the article he exposes the elements which, according to Thomas Mann, are the two main faults of the German philosopher: the antinomy between inorals and life, and the bet for the instincts and power to the detriment of wisdom and love.
